SUICIDAL TRAIN WRECK: How could one person derail so many lives? (L. A. True Crime Files Book 12)

The news flash of a Train Wreck jolted most Angelinos awake but some people dismissed it as the typical accident in which some motorist goes around the barricades to beat the train. However, within the hour, the news media helicopters were depicting a chaotic scene with numerous train cars on their sides with flames climbing skyward. Unfortunately, Los Angeles had suffered a major catastrophe. More and more ambulances converged on the wreckage site and calls went out for more medial teams to treat the mangled bodies being pulled out of the smoldering train cars.
As soon as your author arrived for work at the downtown courthouse, the police had notified the DA’s Office that prosecutors were needed to review a possible criminal investigation. Two of the top prosecutors were dispatched to the disaster site. Over the next several hours they saw 11 dead bodies extricated from the wreckage as well as dozens of seriously injured train commuters.

One of the detectives pulled the prosecutors to the side and showed them the remains of a Jeep Cherokee that had been placed on the tracks. They couldn’t help but smell the pungent odor of gasoline.
