The most the detective had was bullets recovered from the victim’s body which appeared to be fired from a Beretta handgun.
Months later this detective became aware of a Beretta handgun recovered from a gang hang-out. He had the Beretta examined and learned that it was the one used to shoot his robbery/murder victim. This book discusses the unwavering determination of the detective to find the shooter who had fired the Beretta that killed the victim. Trying to find the shooter caused the detective to discover the bloody trail of this one Beretta. This detective ended up solving numerous murder cases in other jurisdictions throughout the Southland. It was unbelievable how just one Beretta could cause so much heartache for so many families.
